Operational testing environment access by February 2022¶
We plan to provide access to the InternetNZ Registry System operational testing environment (IRS OTE) to all registrars by February 2022. We’ll provide a further update on this in January 2022.
It is essential that you allocate time and resources for it to ensure smooth onboarding to the OTE and easy migration to the new .nz registry system.
IRS status update
We are happy to let you know that IRS OTE is up and running and that 13 of our early adopters can now access the OTE with the 7.16 release installed.
Please note that the OTE is currently not complete and some settings may change.
This is because some IRS features are still under development and will become available in upcoming releases.
You can access the current documentation of the Registrar Guide via this downloadable PDF:
7.16 release specific customisations
Please note that the high-level list of customizations for the 7.16 release is:
Authorization Code Updates Transfer in Redemption toggle Reseller name More details and the upcoming release notes will be posted on the InternetNZ Product Documentation site:
CIRA’s access to IRS OTE is read-only
InternetNZ will be granting Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) read-only access to the IRS OTE portal for testing diagnostics from Monday 8 November and for the duration of the OTE Portal testing.
The early adopters have been notified via email and will be notified as soon as the access has closed.
Technical forum is on November 10 and 11
The next .nz registrar technical forum is taking place in EU and NZ time zones on November 10 and 11.
We will mainly focus on the EPP implementation and the differences between the current EPP version and the standard EPP version.
Please note that we are no longer offering access to the .nz registrars technical forum and early access to the OTE to new members.
All registrars can access the technical forum slides, videos, and meeting notes on InternetNZ Product Documentation site: https://docs.internetnz.nz/registry/comms/reg_forum/#
