Key information for conflicted domain name holders

If you would like to register the shorter domain name, you have four months to use the existing process and agree with the other party/parties who should register the shorter domain name. The party/parties withdrawing from the conflict will need to register a change of preference before 12pm on Tuesday, 1 July 2025.

Remember that the conflicted domain names process does not affect your ability to use the domain name already registered to you. The process relates to qualifying to register another shorter domain name.

Names that are not resolved through change of preference before 12pm on Tuesday, 1 July 2025 will remain blocked until there is only one domain name left in the conflict set.
