Technical Changes from Legacy SRS to IRS

This “Technical changes from legacy SRS to IRS” document describes the core technical differences which come into effect with the new .nz rules and new registry system - the InternetNZ Registry System (IRS).

The documentation produced will assist existing .nz registrars to:

1. Understand the impact of the change on their business,

2. Support a smooth migration/transition to IRS,

3. Build robust internal processes to support their registrants, and

4. Act as early educational material ahead of IRS go-live.
